A schmaltzy life lesson

!! You're FLASH invited !!
Saturday 4/26 — breakfast at Luna Park Cafe.

!! You're FLASH invited !!
Sunday 4/27 — Emerald City fish'n'chips, and then
The Seventh Victim at the Beacon.

How's every little thing, and even the big things? Are you happy with life?

When you look at yourself, do you like what you see? If you like what you see, you're the person you should be.

Click that link, if you dare. Those are lyrics from a song in the musical, Lost Horizon. But also, they're a schmaltzy life lesson!

Assuming no strokes or emergencies, here's what I'll be up to over the next week. As always, whether I do or don't do these things depends on my mood when I wake up that day, and also on whether anyone wants to come with me.

If you're family, friend, former friend, acquaintance, arch-enemy, or simply Doug-curious, you're invited. Click the links for details, or drop me a note!

 • Please RSVP by the day before.
 • All events are 'Dutch treat'.
 • Please remember the basics of Doug

The Punk Rock Flea Market is happening all weekend, and I'll be there. (Not all weekend, though. Just once, for a few hours.)

On Saturday, there's another Tesla Takedown protest, so I'll be at one of the Swastikar showrooms. The protests are patriotic and fun, and George Soros pays everyone $300! Antifa forever!

On Sunday, there's a free concert at Trinity Parish Episcopal Church: Sine Nomine: Garden of Earthly Delights.

On Sunday and Monday, an old movie, The Seventh Victim (1943), is playing at the Beacon. It looks interesting to me, and a movie is always better at a theater than streaming at home.

Tuesday and Wednesday are scheduled recliner days.

On Thursday, there's a May Day protest on Capitol Hill, and later a free guided walking tour of the Waterfront. My legs and feet are unwilling to do both events on the same day, so I'll be at one or the other but not both.

And if you're planning something or going somewhere, and you'd like a fat man with flatulence to tag along, I'm that guy. All invitations will be cheerfully considered, possibly even accepted.

Adios and auf wiedersehen, until we meet again!
